Black and White Photos

I have been working on some black and white photos for a friend. They just look so good that I decided to do some other ones just for fun!

Abandoned buildings, I think look the coolest in black and white! Gives them some type of ambiance and mystery. 

I also think that portrait pictures look great in black and white. There is so much one can do with a black and white photo. In the second picture there is some added color. Makes anything you add color to stand out hugely. Try it with your photo and see how much change taking out color can add!  :)

New things!

Well again it has been a long time since I have been on here. I really need to do a better job about posting things!

Since it has been so long I have a few great things to talk about! I have found a great studio to use, finally able to get indoor pictures! I had a great model, Alicia, who posed for me on my trial run of the studio. I have used a studio before of course, but it has been a while. I had to get back into the swing of things and man it was fun! Studio work is just as great as taking outside shots. Here are a couple pictures from the shoot...

The studio I used was awesome! It has so many cool and different props. Many different back grounds and things that some may not even think to use. I can't wait for senior picture time to start back up so I can get some more indoor shots! Any-who, school goes on. I have a couple classes that keep me busy when I would rather be doing something else. BUT it's just so darn important that I keep truckin' on. I get to work in a kindergarten room with my Aunt also. It is just so much fun. Tomorrow I will be teaching about the planets. I have black paper and chalk so they each can draw the planets in order from the sun all the way to maybe (pluto) who really isn't considered a planet anymore. UNLESS you ask Indiana. They passed a law that says Pluto is still a planet. Fun stuff huh!

I am excited to teach about it though. I really enjoy Astronomy and I hope the students tomorrow will too. They love to learn though and are just like little sponges, soak up information!  The reason I am teaching science is because I have an integrated science class. I have to have so many hours in the classroom. I wish I could just do this now as my job! I enjoy it was more then my real job. Shhh though, don't tell anyone there. ;)
